The Grand Traverse County Republican Party Website offers a local look at our great party. We are dedicated to the core Republican principles of an efficient, responsible ethical government. We hope that you join us in supporting our local, regional, state and federal candidates and elected officials and invite you to get involved with our local Republican Party.

Through the years, Republicans led the fight for individuals' rights in opposition to a large bloated government. Republicans abolished salvery, fought for free speech and defended women's suffrage. The Party is still fighting for limited government, steamlined bureaucracy and individual states' rights.

Republicans have a long history with basic principles: Individuals, not government, can make the best decisions; all people are entitled to equal rights; and decisions are best made close to home.

Meet Michigan Republian Party's
Regional Field Director
Keisha Eckert

Keisha is from Gaylord. She studied Political Science:Pre-Law at Michigan State University and graduated in May 2014. Keisha spent her summer as a volunteer for Triston Cole who is the State Representative candidate for the 105th District.
Please stop by and meet Keisha. Make a few calls or go knock and a few doors to help lead the Republicans to victory on November 4.

Volunteers needed!

We are looking for volunteers to help us knock doors and/or phone banking.

This is a great opportunity to get involved and help identify voters for the General Election November 4th! We cannot achieve victory unless we get out there and increase our voter contact.

This is a crucial election and I look forward to working with all volunteers. Thank you in advance for your time and hard work. Please contact me if you are interested in participating or if you have any questions.

Still Leading the Nation:

MIGOP Celebrates Anniversary of Expanded Field Program

LANSING, Mich., July 8, 2014 - One year ago, the Michigan Republican Party welcomed 10 new regional field directors across the state as part of our new field program for 2014 and beyond. Today, field staff operations are well on their way to expanding 10 times that size. To mark this anniversary, Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostak released the following statement:

"For the past year, our team at the Michigan Republican Party has been dedicated to expanding our operations and reaching out to thousands of new faces in all corners of the state. It's inspiring to look back on what we have accomplished in the last 365 days. We are conducting operations year-round, investing in one-of-a-kind technology - the MI Team Dashboard - and empowering our activists to be campaign managers of their communities.

"We led the nation a year ago, and we're still leading the nation today. While the hardest work is still ahead, we have the tools and team in place to win this November. We invite anyone who is interested in learning more or getting involved to join our team today. Together, we will ensure the progress Michigan Republicans have made continues."
