On September 14th, nearly 2,000 people gathered in Grand Traverse County for a candlelight vigil honoring Charlie Kirk. The event came together in just days through the dedication of Lauren Pauly, President of the Grand Traverse Young Republicans, and Evan Reister, President of TPUSA at Northern Michigan University.
As we step into a new year, January gives us the opportunity to reflect with gratitude and look ahead with resolve. As Republicans, we have much to be proud of—our continued commitment to faith, family, freedom, and the foundational values that strengthen our communities. Over the past year, Republicans have stood firm for parental rights, public safety, fiscal responsibility, and the protection of life. These efforts matter, not just politically, but morally.
Reform the Board: Seeking Bold Conservative Leaders Boards of Education and university governing boards (like MSU Trustees, U M Regents, Wayne State Governors, and local boards such as TCAPS and NMC) are elected bodies that set policy, oversee budgets, and guide the long term vision of Michigan’s public schools and universities.

Election season is over for 2024! And it was a doozy! I'm sure everyone is exhausted and ready for some political rest.
Voting is one of the most important responsibilities we have as U.S. citizens and as Michiganians (Michiganders?). It's our chance to elect leaders who will stand up for what matters most to us and whose campaign promises will match their votes here in Grand Traverse County, in Lansing, and in Washington D.C.
The Grand Traverse County Republican Party has been busy gearing up for the November 5th general elections. Many new precinct delegates were elected in August to represent their communities. We have a record high involvement of 205 seats filled which is almost 90% of our delegation ready to lead.
There will be three openings on the TCAPS Board of Trustees that will be elected by voters during the General Election of November 5, 2024. If you reside within TCAPS boundaries, you will be able to vote for all three of the candidates below.
The GTGOP Action Center is seeing much action! There's a nice pool of friendly volunteers helping people find candidate material and selling the TRUMP signs now in stock. Get yours before they're gone! These were printed especially for us, because the "official" signs might not be available until Donald Trump announces his vice presidential choice.
